Penn State Center Pittsburgh offers a range of internship opportunities for Penn State students throughout the year. Typically, we host four to six summer interns to work with the various programs housed at the Center. We also collaborate with faculty advisers and internship coordinators to secure placements with our local community partners.
Summer internship positions at the Center are posted online between February and April, while other positions depend upon community need and skills of available students. In the past, Penn State students have worked on projects including landscape architecture, green infrastructure, energy efficiency, food systems, communication and marketing, hydrology and soils analysis, and urban forestry.
If you are a Penn State student seeking in an internship in Pittsburgh, contact your faculty adviser or internship coordinator and we would be happy to work together to secure a meaningful placement to advance your career and academic interests.
