UrbanKind Institute and the Franco Harris Pittsburgh Center at Penn State invite you to a conversation on “Racism in Housing and Land Use Policy in Milwaukee and Pittsburgh.” The event, featuring Dr. Anne Bonds from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), will explore the history and legacies of racist housing and land use policies in the cities of Milwaukee and Pittsburgh, drawing on insights and connections from UWM’s Mapping Racism and Resistance Project and UrbanKind Institute’s Unearthing Injustices Project.

The event will be moderated by Dr. Jamil Bey, founder of UrbanKind Institute and director of the Pittsburgh Department of City Planning. Light refreshments will be served.
