Penn State Center Pittsburgh Tech Collaborative

The Tech Collaborative at Penn State Center Pittsburgh is a developing network of successful Penn State alumni from various backgrounds, with the purpose of encouraging entrepreneurs from Penn State University Park and its campuses to locate in the Greater Pittsburgh area. The Pittsburgh Center serves as an extension of Penn State's growing interest in establishing a pipeline to commercialize viable intellectual property and spurring economic development statewide. Corporate Online Learning

You can choose from more than 70 online degree and certificate programs through Penn State World Campus. If you are in the Greater Pittsburgh area, please contact Stephanie DeMaro or 814-931-9295. She is available for consultation and can help find the right program for you and your employees.

Technical Assistance for Manufacturing Companies 

The Pennsylvania Technical Assistance Program (PennTAP) is a free service that helps Pennsylvania manufacturing companies improve their competitiveness by providing technological assistance and information to help resolve specific technical questions or needs.

Technologies Available for Licensing

We have a great number of patented inventions available for licensing through our Office of Technology Management. These are easily viewed at our Patents and Licensing site. From there, click on "Technologies Available for Licensing," which will direct you to an easy-to-use search format to help you find the technology that best fits your needs.

Find Flexible Degree Programs

We offer degree options in flexible formats to fit busy adult schedules. You choose when to take courses — throughout the day, evening, weekend, online, or a combination.

No matter where you live or work in the region, you have access to a Penn State campus. Continuing education opportunities are available at any of these Penn State locations: BeaverFayette, Greater Allegheny, New Kensington, and Shenango.
