Penn State Tech Collaborative

The Penn State Center Pittsburgh is establishing a pipeline to commercialize viable intellectual property to encourage entrepreneurs from Penn State University Park and its campuses to relocate to the Greater Pittsburgh area. The Center serves as an extension of Penn State's growing interest in spurring economic development statewide, and provides support to these efforts.

The Penn State Pittsburgh Tech Collaborative is developing a network of successful Penn State alumni from various backgrounds to serve as nurturing support for small businesses and start-ups by helping them feel comfortable coming to Pittsburgh. Prospects would be connected to the local entrepreneurial ecosystem with the various local public agencies, nonprofits, and venture and other capital support. The Tech Collaborative alumni will provide contacts, free or reduced cost consultation, recommendations for direction, marketing guidance, and other support. Other roles can be identified as your relationships develop. For more information, please contact Maureen Hogan at mah66@psu.edu.
